A Favorite book Series--The Wingfeather Saga

I have featured a few songs of Andrew Peterson's on this site. We use a couple in our worship service, "Is He Worthy?" and "The Sower's Song"

But did you know he has written a book series for young adults? I'll be honest, it's the best I've read. If you are a parent that struggles finding things for your kids to read that won't undermine your faith, then this series may be an option. It is in a similar genre to CS Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia or Tolkein's Lord of the Rings, though it doesn't highlight the magic stuff nearly as much as either. It mostly focuses on family and a powerful redemption.
