This message follows the first Bar Mitzvah of our congregation. It describes a brief history, but focuses on Yeshua, the year before His Bar Mitzvah in Luke 2 when He was alone in the Temple at 12 years old. He was coming of age and amazed some leaders at the Temple. The Son has an important role in the Father's plan. We are called to Kiss the Son in Psalm 2. The Son is also known as the Word in John 1. The Word in 1st Century Jewish thought is called the Memra in the Aramaic Targums. The Memra is involved in Creation, making Covenant with Abraham and even our Redemption. We don't want to oppose or come against the Memra--it doesn't end well. As Korah found out when he opposed Moses and the Memra.
