God sets patterns right from the beginning, especially using the number 7. From beginning with the Shabbat to the end with the churches, the bowls, the trumpets and the seals, sevens give us reason to pay attention. Tikkun Olam seeks to repair the world and is able to recognize many of the problems, but only seeks to treat the symptoms.
