Romans #33 - From the Kitchen to the Garden - Romans 11:16

In the ancient world, people made bread almost daily. Having a garden, growing things was much more common. Both are missing from the modern world. Because of that, they may miss Paul's point related to Jews & Gentiles. Today, if someone is making bread every Friday night for Shabbat, they're not actually making Challah unless they do a certain thing that is a commandment. Likewise, if they don't have a garden or are not familiar with how things grow, they might not understand how two things growing in different places can be related. Jews & Gentiles need to understand that what God is doing in both of them is Holy and pleasing to Him.
