Romans Pt 16 - No Need for Torah? vs. No Need for Torah!! - 6:1-14

The first century situation and argument Paul is addressing Romans 6 is vastly different than modern understandings and interpretations. The first century was afraid of abandoning the standards of the Torah while in our day, most can't wait to do so because we are no longer under law but under grace. Paul doesn't lower the standards, even for the Gentiles, he raises the standard for all believers because we have been buried with Messiah and raised to walk in a new way of life.
